Balaka Man Jailed for Vandalising ESCOM Property

Balaka Magistrate’s Court handed a 36-month jail term on Paul Lipenga on December 31, 2024. The convict hails from Mgwira Village, Traditional Authority Kalembo in Balaka. Magistrate Peter Mkuzi sentenced the 46-year-old to 36 months for vandalism of electricity installation equipment and 18 months each for possession of stolen property and theft.
